Dr Martyn Cox initially studied Cell Biology and Immunology at Plymouth University. His PhD thesis at Bristol University covered research into the molecular biology of virus infections and human oral cancer. Martyn has been awarded numerous research prizes in the UK and has published widely in both UK and international peer reviewed journals including several oral cancer textbooks and has also lectured on oral cancer and human papilloma virus genetics both in UK, Europe and the USA.
Martyn then undertook his BDS dental degree at Bristol University. After qualifying as a Dental Surgeon in 1991 Martyn went on to establish his own Dental Clinic in Devizes, Whiltshire. Over the years Martyn has developed a specialist interest in the fields of Oral surgery, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry with a focus on CT guided 3D ‘keyhole’ Implant surgery.
Martyn has been placing and restoring dental implants since 2000 and has trained in advanced dental implant techniques (including guided bone regeneration and sinus lift techniques) in the USA, Europe and Harley Street, London. He is currently an implant mentor for both Bredent, Bicon and Implantium implant systems having placed and restored in excess of 2500 implants with a 99% success rate.
Dr Martyn Cox believes strongly in developing a personal relationship with his patients allowing him to provide safe treatment options with long lasting results.
Dr Martyn Cox joined the Freeman & Rosser team in September 2017 as our part time Implantologist.
Besides Dentistry Martyn enjoys outdoor pursuits, travelling and spending time at his Cottage in West Wales.

Eryl Rosser qualified in 1982 at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. Following her qualification Eryl went on to work at the University Hospital Dental School, Cardiff and then on to the Middlesex Hospital, London and later returned to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff to lecture in paediatric dentistry.
It was in 1985 where Freeman & Rosser was established, initially in Neyland, Pembrokeshire before settling in Carmarthen in 1989 and expanding to the existing premises in 1992 where it has flourished.
Eryl maintains her interest in paediatric dentistry alongside Endodontic and Restorative dentistry.
Besides dentistry Eryl has a keen interest in gardening, horses and the countryside.

Hanna Jones qualified in 2008 at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. Hanna completed her vocational training in Aberystwyth and has continued practicing in West Wales.
Hanna joined the Freeman & Rosser team in March 2017.
Hanna is very keen to keep up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry enabling her to continue to provide high quality treatment.
As well as providing routine dental care Hanna enjoys all aspects of cosmetic dentistry such as tooth whitening, composite resin bonding and crowns.
Besides dentistry Hanna enjoys outdoor pursuits.

Anne initially joined the Freeman & Rosser team in 1996 as a trainee dental nurse and soon qualified.
In 2006 Anne decided to pursue her interests in hygiene and periodontal care and attended the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, to complete a Dental Hygiene Course.
Anne qualified in 2008 and returned to Freeman & Rosser Dental & Implant Clinic as our part time Dental Hygienist.
Anne is keen to keep up with the latest advancements in hygiene and dentistry, allowing her to continue to provide high quality treatment.
Besides dentistry Anne enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the South West, UK in her caravan.

Alison qualified as a dental hygienist in 1981 and dental therapist in 2005, both at the University of Liverpool, School of Dental Hygiene.
Alison has had many fantastic opportunities following on from her qualifications within the dentistry field. Alison was a dental tutor at the Bristol Dental Hospital, supervising and teaching undergraduates.
Following a short career break and relocation, Alison joined the Freeman & Rosser team as our part time Dental Hygienist in December 2018. Alison is keen to keep up with the latest advancements in hygiene and dentistry, allowing her to continue to provide high quality treatment.
Besides dentistry Alison has a keen interest in Bee Keeping and travelling.

Lynda joined the Freeman and Rosser team as a trainee dental nurse in February 2012.
Soon after qualifying in 2014, In recognition of her hard work, commitment and fantastic patient care she was appointed Head Dental Nurse.

Katie joined the Freeman & Rosser team as a trainee dental nurse in November 2001 and qualified in 2006.
During this time Katie has assisted our Clinicians in surgery and has been taking great care of our patients.

Natasha Joined the Freeman & Rosser team as a qualified dental nurse in May 2015.
During this time Natasha has used her dental knowledge to support her role and has built great rapports with our patients in surgery and whilst on reception.
In October 2019 Natasha was appointed Head Receptionist in recognition of her hard work, care and commitment to our clinic and patients.
Kelly has been taking care of our patients here at Freeman & Rosser since 2000.
Kelly originally joined the team as a trainee dental nurse.
Kelly gained her dental nursing qualification in 2003 and has used her vast knowledge and experience in dentistry to support her role on reception, where she has been building relationships with our patients over the many years.
Kylie initially joined the Freeman & Rosser team as a trainee dental surgery assistant in 2006 and qualified in 2008.
Kylie swiftly progressed up the hierarchy of Freeman & Rosser to the assistant practice manager position and was appointed Practice manager in May 2018 in recognition of her hard work and enthusiasm.
She is proud to be part of Freeman & Rosser and of the high standards of patient care established within the practice.
