What does Curodont® Repair do?

Curodont® Repair is a treatment designed to help stop the progression of early tooth decay. Using a biomimetic approach that mimics nature, it works with minerals naturally found in your saliva to help restore weakened enamel, helping to preserve your healthy tooth structure.

By treating decay at an early stage, it may help preserve natural tooth structure and delay or avoid the need for a filling. It isn't suitable for every type of decay, so we can help to assess whether it's an appropriate option for you.

The benefits of Curodont® Repair

• Micro-invasive treatment: can treat suitable early decay without drilling or injections
• Supports enamel repair: enables restoration of lost minerals beyond the tooth surface and into the depth of early decay.
• Helps preserve natural tooth structure: may delay or avoid the need for further restorative treatment in suitable cases
• Over 90% clinical success rate in arresting and reversing early decay, significantly outperforming fluoride varnish alone
• Quick application: the treatment is applied by a dental professional during an appointment
• Suitable for adults and children: provided the tooth and decay are suitable for treatment

Treatment suitability and outcomes vary from patient to patient. Curodont Repair™ is not currently recommended for patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
